ZELLA'S WORLD
Zella’s World is an original preschool series where everyday moments become playful adventures. Warm, funny and character-driven, the series blends gentle humour, original music, imagination, and social-emotional learning in stories created especially for young children.

At the heart of the series is Zella—a curious, enthusiastic little monster whose backyard world is filled with discoveries, songs, small problems to solve, and plenty of opportunities to play and imagine.
​
Zella’s World is also an exploration of what independent children's production can look like in a rapidly changing creative landscape. By combining decades of traditional television storytelling experience with emerging AI production tools, I’m able to create and produce an original animated series independently. I write and direct every episode and oversee the series from first idea to finished production. I also edit, perform the sound design, voice Zella and Pip, appear as Nana, and create the final episodes and supporting content. This isn't a business venture. It's a labour of love.

The tools may be new, but the philosophy behind the work isn't: character comes first, story matters, and children deserve thoughtful, entertaining content.
